Our Process

Consultation

We would love to discuss your project with you, and there's nothing better than a scheduled phone call. We reivew our full product offering of paper bags, reusable bags and thermal bags with you. This will ensure we understand your project goals and have all the information required to offer you the best solution to you meet your requirements.

Quote

Once we have discussed your project and determined the best solution to meet your requirements, we will provide a comprehensive quote detailing the full specifications, a price breakdown showing all costs, and a photograph of the specific material or print style. We will also provide an estimated timeline.
This is a clear, easy to understand quote with no hidden costs. If you've requested a number of options, they will be clearly detailed to ensure you have all you need to select the best product for you.

Approval

We hope our quote is favourable to you, and if so we would ask for a purchase order or written approval to go ahead with your project. We will also send you our standard Terms and Conditions to be completed so we can open a file for you.

Artwork

We require final artwork files to be submitted in a high-resolution vector-formatted PDF, .ai or .eps format. Unfortunately we are unable to use JPEG, .png or other formats.

Digital Layout

After we receive your artwork files, we will confirm any additional details with you such as Pantone colours for the imprint or material colour of handles. We then send you a digital layout of what your artwork looks like on the bag showing placement and size. At this time any changes would be made until you are satisfied with how the layout looks. Once you approve the layout you have the option of proceeding directly with production, or requesting a physical sample of your bag to approve.

Samples

A physical sample of your bag can be made and shipped to you for your approval prior to mass production. This process takes approximately 2 weeks and has an added cost to cover the set-up, production and shipping. If the printing is a laminated bag, the printing plate set-up fee will also be required. If you have time restraints or prefer not to incur the cost of a physical sample, in lieu of a making a physical sample we can send you a sample of a bag in the same material and printing style, although it may be a slightly different size as every bag we make is custom sized. As we have many bag samples in stock, most times we can have samples sent to you the very next day.

Manufacturing Process

Once the digital layout and/or samples have been approved and signed off, we then put your order into mass production. You will have your bag order in 8-10 weeks, depending upon the time of year. Holiday seasons have slightly longer lead times due to the increased demand, but if you need bags for an event we offer expedited air freight service, which will allow you to ship a portion of your order to arrive earlier.
