The Province Of Yukon was looking for reusable bags and a solution to encourage local residents to decrease the usage of single-use plastic bags, and to replace them with a reusable bag made from recycled materials.

Less than 9% of plastic is recycled in Canada. Millions of plastic bags are being found in local area lakes, rivers and the ocean, adversely affecting wildlife.
The solution we provided was a black reusable bag that was made from recycled PET bottles and contained 99% recycled content (the thread to sew the bags is not made from recycled content).
This is the same material bag that the Loblaws stores provide.
 Local residents have embraced this initiative and the province was very happy with the outcome. Yukon is one of the many provinces across Canada that will be banning plastic bags sometime this year.
