Exposure to sunlight or heat triggers a process which causes the plastic to breakdown through oxidation into small fragments, which then decompose into carbon dioxide, water, biomass and minerals - all natural elements. Icegreen supplies a complete line of quality environmentally-responsible paper products such as 100% recycled towels, tissue and dispensing systems for the away-from-home market. The market segments served by these products include office buildings, factories, healthcare facilities, hotels, airports and other high-traffic facilities.

Our EcoSoft™ towels and tissue are made entirely from 100% recycled fibers and are chlorine-free. Many EcoSoft™ products exceed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines for post-consumer waste. This is important because using high-levels of post-consumer materials will divert a greater amount of waste from landfills.

Some of the recycled materials used to produce EcoSoft™ towels and tissue are: office wastepaper, newspapers, corrugated containers and printer rejects and trimmings. In addition, several of our EcoSoft™ products have obtained certification as environmentally preferable by Green Seal, Inc. of Washington, DC. These EcoSoft™ Green Seal® products are the first and only complete line of towels and tissue to be certified by Green Seal.
